The Hornady Black line of ammunition features new bullet and propellant technology specifically created for optimal performance across a variety of shooting applications with supreme accuracy and consistency. Its clean-burning propellant technology provides 15-20% temperature reduction, resulting in a progressive burn rate with minimal flash.
Made in a 300 Blackout cartridge and loaded with a 208 grain Hornady A-MAX projectile, this subsonic round is designed to fit, feed, and function with direct impingement, gas piston, suppressed, unsuppressed, bolt, supersonic, subsonic, rifle-length, mid-length, carbine, and pistol AR platforms. The A-MAX bullet, engineered with a low-drag polymer tip and caliber-specific boattail measurements, maximizes the ballistic coefficient and accuracy for near perfection in flight.
