Returns & Refund Policy

At Black Hills Precision Supply, customer satisfaction is important to us. We strive to provide quality products and excellent service with every order. If you experience an issue with your purchase, please review our return and refund policy below.


Return Eligibility

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date.

To qualify for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition.
  • Include all original packaging, manuals, and accessories.
  • Not show signs of wear, damage, or modification.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase or order confirmation.

Items returned without prior authorization may be refused.


Non-Returnable Items

For safety, legal, and regulatory reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Primers
  • Smokeless Powder
  • Black Powder
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Clearance or Final Sale Items
  • Gift Cards
  • Special Order Products
  • Products that have been opened, used, or altered

Please ensure you order the correct products before completing your purchase.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

When contacting us, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

Our team will review the claim and work to provide a replacement, exchange, or refund where appropriate.


Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact our customer support team through our Contact page.
  2. Provide your order number and the reason for your return.
  3. Wait for return authorization and instructions.
  4. Carefully package the item and ship it using the recommended carrier.

Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.


Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund.

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


Exchanges

If you receive a defective or incorrect product, we will gladly arrange an exchange for the same item, subject to product availability.

If the item is no longer available, we may offer an alternative product or issue a refund.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only if they have not yet entered processing or shipment.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the standard return process, where applicable.


Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • We shipped the incorrect product.
  • The item arrived damaged or defective.
  • The return is the result of an error on our part.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned packages.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery becomes the responsibility of the carrier.

If your package is lost or delayed, please contact the carrier first. Our customer support team will assist you in filing a claim whenever possible.
